What is Castorama?

Castorama is a major European home improvement and DIY retailer, part of the Kingfisher Group. It offers a wide range of products across building materials, home renovation, tools, garden, décor, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor living. Through its marketplace and supplier ecosystem, Castorama enables approved sellers and manufacturers to reach DIY customers and trade professionals across multiple European markets.

Obtaining Your API Credentials from ASOS

To connect Castorama to Neuro, you’ll need the following API credentials:

  • API Key

  • API URL

Note:

If you don’t yet have these details, please log in to your Castorama seller account or contact your account manager or onboarding representative.

How to Find Your API URL

  1. Log in to the Marketplace seller portal.

  2. Navigate to the API / Integration Settings section.

  3. Copy the base API URL assigned to your seller account or environment.

How to Generate Your API Key

  1. In the seller portal, click your username in the top-right corner.

  2. Go to User Settings > API Key.

  3. Click Generate to create a new API key for your account.

⚠️ Be sure to store this key securely - it provides direct access to your marketplace data.

Installing the Castorama Sales Channel in Neuro

Follow the steps below to install and configure Castorama in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

  1. Log in to your Neuro account.

  2. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Stores.

Step 2: Select or Create a Store

  • If a store already exists, click View Store.

  • If not, click + ADD to create a new store.
    Enter a store name and then click the pencil icon to access the store settings.

Step 3: Add Castorama as a Channel

  1. In the Channels section, click + ADD.

  2. Select Castorama from the list of available channels.

Step 4: Enter Channel Details

Enter the required details:

  • Channel Name: For example, “Castorama EU”.

  • API URL: Paste the API URL from your supplier portal.

  • API Key: Enter the API key you generated earlier.

Step 5: Configure Additional Settings

Depending on your integration requirements, you may configure:

  • Order Management

  • Stock Management

  • Fulfilment & Delivery Updates

Click Save when complete.

Step 6: Activate the Channel

  1. After saving, you will return to the Castorama channel overview.

  2. Toggle Is Active at the top to activate the integration.
