B&Q Sales Channel Setup

B&Q is one of the UK’s largest and most trusted home improvement and DIY retailers. Through its online marketplace, B&Q partners with approved sellers to offer customers a wider range of home, garden, and lifestyle products. By connecting B&Q to your Neuro account, you can centralise your order management, maintain accurate stock levels, and streamline fulfilment—saving time and improving accuracy across your operations.

Obtaining Your B&Q API Credentials

To connect B&Q to Neuro, you’ll need the following:

  • API Key

  • API URL

📌 Note: These credentials are issued by B&Q during onboarding. If you have not received them, please reach out to your B&Q account manager or onboarding representative to request access.

How to Locate Your API URL

Your API URL is typically based on your seller portal address. To find it:

  1. Log in to your B&Q seller portal.

  2. Copy the base portion of the URL from your browser’s address bar.
    Example: https://your-bq-store.b-and-q.com

How to Generate Your API Key

  1. Log in to your seller portal.

  2. Click your profile name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  3. Go to User Settings > API Key.

  4. Click Generate to create a new API key.

  5. Copy and save the key somewhere secure.

Installing the B&Q Sales Channel in Neuro

Follow the steps below to install and configure B&Q as a sales channel in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

  • Log in to your Neuro account.

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click Stores.

Step 2: Select or Create a Store

  • If a store already exists, click View Store.

  • If not, click + ADD to create a new store. Enter a name and click the pencil icon to open its settings.

Step 3: Add B&Q as a Channel

  • In the Channels section of your store, click + ADD.

  • From the list of available channels, select B&Q.

Enter the Following Details

  • Channel Name: Choose a clear, recognisable name for internal reference (e.g., “B&Q Marketplace” or “B&Q UK Store”).

  • Account Nominal Code (Optional): Used for internal accounting purposes. If unsure, leave this field blank or consult your finance team.

  • API URL: Enter the base URL copied from your seller portal.

  • API Key: Paste the key you generated in your seller account.

Additional Configuration

You may also configure options such as:

  • Order Management

  • Stock Management

  • Label Settings (if applicable)

Once complete, click Save in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Activating the Channel

  • After saving, you will return to the B&Q channel view.

  • Toggle the Is Active switch at the top of the screen to enable the channel.

Next Steps & Support

Your B&Q sales channel is now successfully connected to Neuro. Orders, inventory, and fulfilment data will begin syncing automatically based on your configuration settings.
