Obtaining your API Keys from Squarespace

  1. Log in to your Squarespace store using your login credentials.

  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Home Menu and click "Settings".

  3. From the Settings menu, select "Advanced".

  4. Click "Developer API Keys" within the Advanced menu.

  5. Click the "Generate Key" button in the Developer API Keys menu.

  6. Enter a descriptive name for your new API Key in the "Key Name" field.

  7. Next, select the appropriate permissions for the API key based on your needs. For the Squarespace channel setup, choosing "Read and Write" permissions for Products, Inventory, and Orders are recommended.

  8. Once you have selected the appropriate permissions, click the "Generate Key" button to create the API Key.

  9. After you click "Generate Key," Squarespace will display a unique API Key on the screen. Copy the key, as it will only be shown once.

Installing the Squarespace Sales Channel

To add the Squarespace sales channel to your Neuro account, kindly adhere to the following steps:

  1. Access your account and go to the left side of the screen. Click the "Stores" button.

  2. If you already have a store, click "View Store" on the right side of the screen to access it.

  3. To edit an existing store, click the edit button on the right side. If you need to create a new store, click "+ ADD" above, name it, and use the edit button to make changes.

  4. Click "+ ADD" in the channels section to begin the installation.

  5. A window will appear in the centre of the screen. Choose "Squarespace" from the list of available channels.

  6. Provide the required information:

    • Channel Name: In the field provided, you can enter any name. However, it is recommended that you choose a name that has meaning to you, such as "Squarespace," as it will serve as an apparent reference for the source of the order in the future.

    • API Key: Please enter the information obtained through your Squarespace platform earlier.

  7. After filling out the fields, customiSe other options, then click "Save" in the bottom-right corner.

  8. You'll be back in the recently installed channel. Activate it at the top of the screen using the "Is Active" button.

Congratulations! You've successfully set up your Squarespace sales channel on Neuro.

You can now sell products on Squarespace and manage orders from your Neuro dashboard.
