Obtaining API Credentials from Whistl

To connect Whistl with Neuro, you must first acquire the necessary API credentials. Please contact your Whistl account manager to request the following details:

  • Service URL

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

Secure these credentials as they are required during the setup process.

Installing the Whistl Plugin

Follow these steps to integrate Whistl with your Neuro account:

  1. Access Your Store Settings

    • Log into your Neuro account.

    • Navigate to the left-hand menu and select "Stores".

  2. Select or Create a Store

    • To modify an existing store, click the Edit button.

    • To create a new store, click "+ ADD", enter a store name, and then use the Edit button to configure it.

  3. Add the Whistl Plugin

    • Navigate to the Plugins section.

    • Click "+ ADD" to initiate the installation.

    • From the list of available integrations, select Whistl.

  4. Enter Required Information
    Provide the following credentials obtained from Whistl:

    Plugin Name: Assign a meaningful name, ideally aligned with your store. 
Service URL: Enter the API endpoint provided by Whistl. 
Client ID: Input the unique identifier assigned by Whistl. 
Client Secret: Enter the confidential key provided by Whistl for authentication.

Configuring Order Management

Neuro allows you to refine how orders are processed through Whistl. Configure these settings to ensure efficient fulfilment:

  • Exclude Unfulfillable Orders:

    • Enable this option to prevent orders from being sent to Whistl if stock is insufficient. If any item within a bundle, kit, or grouped product lacks stock, the entire order will be withheld.

  • Deduct Stock via Orders:

    • Updates Whistl's stock levels dynamically as orders are processed.

Configuring Stock Management

Ensure real-time synchronisation between Neuro and Whistl:

  • Add Products to Whistl:

    • Enables automatic synchronisation of store products with Whistl.

  • Download Products:

    • Fetches product information from Whistl and creates corresponding store products.

    • Retrieves and updates product quantities every 3 minutes.

  • Auto Sync Stock:

    • Ensures stock levels across all linked channels remain up to date.

    • Automatically synchronises quantities received from Whistl every 3 minutes.

Finalising the Setup

Once all fields are completed:

  1. Click Save at the bottom right.

  2. Activate the connection by toggling the "Is Active" button at the top of the screen.

Post-Installation Notes

Important: After creating and saving the plugin, allow 3 to 5 minutes for activation and initial data synchronisation.
