Installing the Extension on OpenCart

To install the Despatch Cloud extension, you must first add the necessary files to your OpenCart installation. Here's how:

  • Download the zip file (OpenCart V2 Extension or OpenCart V3 Extension) and unzip it using a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip.

  • Connect to your OpenCart root folder using an FTP program such as FileZilla (you can get the host, username, and password from your web hosting service). Alternatively, you can use a file manager provided by your web hosting platform to upload the folders.

  • Upload the "catalog" and "admin" folders to your OpenCart installation folder.

Once the files are in place, you can install the extension through OpenCart.

Obtaining your API Keys from OpenCart V3

Here are the steps to obtain the necessary credentials for setting up your OpenCart V3 sales channel on Neuro:

  1. Start by logging in to your OpenCart Admin Panel.

  2. Navigate to "Systems > Users > API" from the Menu Bar.

  3. Click on the plus button to create a new API.

  4. Enter a name in the "API Name" field and click the "Generate" button. Also, select the "Enabled" option for "Status".

  5. Copy the API Key and click the floppy disk icon to "Save". Note that you should enter the store URL in the "Domain" field.

  6. From the Menu Bar, navigate to "Extensions > Extensions".

  7. Select "Modules" from the "Extension Type" drop-down list.

  8. Please scroll down to find the Neuro extension and click the plus button next to it. Wait until the extension installation is done.

  9. Click on the pencil menu related to the Neuro extension.

  10. Set the "Status" as "Enabled" and enter the copied API Key into the "API Key" field.

  11. Click on the floppy disk icon to "Save".

Once you have completed these steps, you will have the Name and API Key that you can use to set up your OpenCart sales channel on Neuro. It's essential to follow each step carefully to ensure a successful integration.

Installing the OpenCart Sales Channel

To add the OpenCart V3 sales channel to your Neuro account, kindly adhere to the following steps:

  1. Access your account and go to the left side of the screen. Click the "Stores" button.

  2. If you already have a store, click "View Store" on the right side of the screen to access it.

  3. To edit an existing store, click the edit button on the right side. If you need to create a new store, click "+ ADD" above, name it, and use the edit button to make changes.

  4. Click "+ ADD" in the channels section to begin the installation.

  5. A window will appear in the centre of the screen. Choose "OpenCart V3" from the available channels list.

  6. Provide the required information:

    • Name: In the field provided, you can enter any name. However, it is recommended that you choose a name that has meaning to you, such as "OpenCart V3," as it will serve as an apparent reference for the source of the order in the future.

    • Domain URL: This is where you should enter the name of your store, as it will appear in the URL, such as "https://opencart.com/."

    • API Key: Please input the credentials you previously acquired from the OpenCart V3 platform.

  7. After filling out the fields, customise other options, then click "Save" in the bottom-right corner.

  8. You'll be back in the recently installed channel. Activate it at the top of the screen using the "Is Active" button.

Congratulations! You've successfully set up your OpenCart V3 sales channel on Neuro.

You can now sell products on OpenCart V3 and manage orders from your Neuro dashboard.
