Macy’s is a renowned US department store and marketplace, offering fashion, homeware, beauty, and more. Sellers can present their catalogue, manage orders, and reach broad consumer audiences through the Macy’s digital ecosystem.

Whether you’re launching on Macy’s for the first time or expanding your multi-channel strategy, this guide will walk you through the essential setup to get your Macy’s sales channel up and running within Neuro.

Obtaining Your API Credentials from Macy’s

To connect Macy’s to Neuro, you’ll need the following credentials:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

Note:

If you don’t yet have these details, log in to your Macy’s seller portal or contact your account manager or onboarding representative.

How to Find Your Client ID and Client Secret

  1. Log in to the Macy’s seller portal.

  2. Navigate to Settings or Developer/API Access.

  3. Copy your Client ID.

  4. Generate or locate your Client Secret (create/reset as needed).

  5. Store these securely - they provide direct access to your marketplace data.

Installing the Macy’s Sales Channel in Neuro

Follow these steps to install and configure Macy’s as a sales channel in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

  • Log in to your Neuro account.

  • From the left-hand navigation, click Stores.

Step 2: Select or Create a Store

  • If a store already exists, click View Store.

  • If not, click + ADD to create a new store. Enter a store name and click the pencil (edit) icon to open its settings.

Step 3: Add Macy’s as a Channel

  • In the Channels section of your store, click + ADD.

  • From the list of available channels, select Macy’s.

Step 4: Enter Channel Details

  • Channel Name: Enter a recognisable name (e.g., “Macy’s” or “Macy’s US”).

  • Client ID: Paste the Client ID from your Macy’s portal.

  • Client Secret: Paste the Client Secret from your Macy’s portal.

Step 5: Configure Additional Settings

You may configure optional settings depending on your integration needs:

  • Order Management

  • Stock Management

When complete, click Save in the bottom-right corner.

Step 6: Activate the Channel

  • After saving, you will return to the Macy’s channel view.

  • Toggle the Is Active switch at the top of the screen to enable the integration.
