Installing the VirtualStock Plugin
Integrating VirtualStock with Neuro enables seamless order and inventory management. Follow the steps below to install and configure the VirtualStock plugin.
To configure the VirtualStock plugin, you will need API credentials. These can be acquired by contacting your VirtualStock account manager.
Step 1: Access the Store Settings
Log in to your Neuro account.
Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on "Stores".
To modify an existing store, click the Edit button. If creating a new store:
Click "+ ADD" at the top.
Enter the store name.
Click Edit to configure the store settings.
Step 2: Install the VirtualStock Plugin
Within the store settings, navigate to the Plugins section.
Click "+ ADD" to initiate the installation process.
A window will appear. Select "VirtualStock" from the available plugin list.
Step 3: Configure Plugin Settings
Provide the following details to configure the VirtualStock plugin:
Plugin Name:Assign a clear and meaningful name to the plugin, ideally aligning with your store name.Username:Enter the username provided by VirtualStock or your account administrator.Password:Input the corresponding password for authentication.FTP Username:The credentials for accessing the FTP server to facilitate secure data exchange between your store and VirtualStock.FTP Password:The password associated with theFTP username:Supplier for Orders: Select the supplier responsible for fulfilling customer orders. Supplier for Products: Choose the supplier that provides product information and inventory data.
Step 4: Order Management
Enable the following option for accurate stock adjustments:
Push Orders to Plugin:feature enables the transfer of order information to a connected plugin for processing, such as fulfilment or stock updates.Deduct Stock via Orders:Ensures stock levels are dynamically adjusted as orders are processed.Exclude Unfulfillable Orders:Enable this option to prevent orders from being sent to VirtualStock if stock is insufficient. If any item within a bundle, kit, or grouped product lacks stock, the entire order will be withheld.Allow Order Split:This Feature enables the system to divide a single order into multiple shipments based on product availability, supplier locations, or other logistical constraints.
Step 5: Stock Management
Optimise product synchronisation with VirtualStock:
Add Products to VirtualStock:Activating this option allows your store products to be created and synchronised within the VirtualStock system.Download Products:Fetch product information from VirtualStock and generate corresponding store products. This feature also updates product quantities every 3 minutes.Auto Sync Stock:Ensures stock levels across all linked channels are updated with data from VirtualStock at regular 3-minute intervals.Product Category:This allows you to categorise products when pushing them to VirtualStock.Use Supplier Part Number for SKU:This is particularly useful when managing inventory across multiple suppliers, as it aligns the SKU with the supplier’s reference, reducing discrepancies and improving order accuracy.
Step 6: Finalising the Setup
Once all fields are completed, click "Save" at the bottom right corner.
