What is Groupon

Fostering a sense of urgency and social sharing, deals on Groupon operate on a group buying concept, requiring a minimum number of purchases to become valid. Groupon collaborates with merchants globally, ranging from small local businesses to larger retailers, providing them with increased visibility and customer acquisition. Initially focused on local deals, the platform expanded to include goods, travel, and more. While Groupon enjoyed rapid growth and a successful initial public offering in 2011, it faced challenges and changes in its business model over time, adapting to a dynamic e-commerce landscape. Users can access Groupon through its website or mobile app, and the company's global presence made it a prominent player in the online deals space.

Obtaining your API Keys from Groupon

To acquire the required Supplier ID and API access token, kindly contact your account manager or refer to the Groupon Partner Management Tool.

Installing the Groupon Sales Channel

To add the Groupon sales channel to your Neuro account, kindly adhere to the following steps:

1. Access your account and go to the left side of the screen. Click the "Stores" button.

2. If you already have a store, click "View Store" on the right side of the screen to access it.

3. To edit an existing store, click the edit button on the right side. If you need to create a new store, click "+ ADD" above, name it, and use the edit button to make changes.

4. Click "+ ADD" in the channels section to begin the installation.

5. A window will appear in the centre of the screen. Choose "Groupon" from the list of available channels.

6. Provide the required information:

   • Channel Name: In the provided field, you can enter any name you desire. However, it is recommended to choose a name that has meaning to you, such as "Groupon", as it will serve as an apparent reference for the source of the order in the future.

   • Supplier ID & Access Token: Please enter the information obtained from the Groupon platform, as previously shown. It is essential to ensure that these fields are filled in correctly to access your account.

7. After filling out the fields, customise other options, then click "Save" in the bottom-right corner.

8. You'll be back in the recently installed channel. Activate it at the top of the screen using the "Is Active" button.

Congratulations! You've successfully set up your Groupon sales channel on Neuro.

You can now sell products on Groupon and manage orders from your Neuro dashboard.
