The Hosted Pages feature provides a graphical interface for functionalities that are traditionally accessed through API calls. This tool simplifies development by allowing users to generate links, customise branding, and configure channel installations efficiently. This guide details each element of the Hosted Pages section and its step-by-step functionalities.

Accessing Hosted Pages

To navigate to the Hosted Pages section:

  1. Click on your username in the upper-right corner of the interface.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select "Hosted Pages".

Understanding Hosted Pages

Hosted Pages allow you to generate URLs for store invitations, customise branding, and manage available channels. Below is a breakdown of the key features:

1 - 4. Active Links

  1. In the Active Links Section:

    • Select the desired Store from the list.

  2. Click "+ Generate" to create an invitation link for the selected store(s).

    • The generated link remains valid for one hour. After expiration, a new link must be created.

    • Click the generated link to open a page displaying installed stores. If none are installed, the page will indicate this.

  3. Click "Install" at the bottom of the screen to proceed.

    • Users accessing the link can install or modify channels associated with the store.

  4. Select the channels to install and click the "Install" button for each one.

    • Enter the required data, which varies depending on the store selected.

    • Check all the appropriate boxes you deem necessary.

    • Click β€œSave” to save your settings.

5. Branding & Personalisation

Customise the appearance of Hosted Pages to align with your brand:

  • Upload a custom logo using a URL.

  • Toggle the search bar visibility for channels.

  • Enable dark mode.

  • Adjust the colour scheme and font size to match your brand identity.

Recommended logo dimensions: 230 pixels (width) Γ— 40 pixels (height).

6. Custom Stylesheets

Enhance the Hosted Pages with personalised styles:

  • Click "our page styles" to download a sample CSS file.

  • Modify the CSS file according to your preferences.

  • Upload the updated file to a hosting service and provide the URL.

  • Multiple stylesheets can be applied in sequence by adding several entries.

7. Available Channels

  • Enable or disable channels by selecting the corresponding checkboxes.

  • Adjust visual settings and apply filters to refine the list of available channels.

8/9. Customising Inputs

Customise individual channel input fields to improve user experience:

  • Click "+ New Customisation" to add a new configuration.

  • Modify various input field attributes (Channel specific) such as:

    • Field Name: Label displayed to users.

    • Placeholder Text: Guidance text visible inside the input field.

    • Error Messages: Messages shown when incorrect data is entered.

    • Default Values: Predefined text in the input field.

  • Disable specific fields to prevent them from being displayed to users.

  • Use custom configurations to integrate with your internal infrastructure.
