What is Tesco?

Tesco is one of the UK’s largest and most recognised retailers, offering a wide array of products, including groceries, household essentials, and general merchandise. Through its third-party marketplace model, Tesco partners with sellers to expand its online offerings. Integrating Tesco with Neuro allows you to streamline order processing, maintain real-time inventory accuracy, and automate fulfilment across your sales operations.

Obtaining Your API Credentials from Tesco

To connect Tesco to Neuro, you’ll need specific API credentials, which are issued directly by Tesco.

Note: If you have not received your credentials, please contact your Tesco Partner Manager or onboarding representative to request access.

Ensure you obtain the following:

  • Hostname

  • API key

Once you have these credentials, you are ready to complete the integration process below.

Installing the Tesco Sales Channel in Neuro

Follow the steps below to install and configure Tesco as a sales channel in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

  • Log in to your Neuro account.

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click Stores.

Step 2: Select or Create a Store

  • If a store already exists, click View Store.

  • If not, click + ADD to create a new store. Enter a store name and click the pencil (edit) icon to open its settings.

Step 3: Add Tesco as a Channel

  • In the Channels section of your store, click + ADD.

  • From the list of available channels, select Tesco.

  • Enter the following information:

    • Channel Name: Choose a name for internal reference (e.g., "Tesco Marketplace").

    • Account Nominal Code: This is optional and used for billing.

    • Hostname: Provided by Tesco.

    • API Key: Provided by Tesco.

Step 4: Configure Additional Settings

Depending on your integration needs, you may configure additional options such as:

  • Order Management

  • Stock Management

When complete, click Save in the bottom-right corner.

Step 5: Activate the Channel

  • You will return to the Tesco channel view.

  • Toggle the Is Active switch at the top of the screen to enable the channel.

Your Tesco integration is now live. Neuro will begin synchronising orders, stock levels, and fulfilment updates according to your configured preferences.
