This page provides step-by-step instructions for integrating Helm with Neuro. By connecting your Helm environment, you’ll unlock streamlined order flow, real-time operational visibility, and centralised fulfilment management, all from within the Neuro dashboard.

What is Helm?

Helm is a warehouse and operations platform that helps businesses monitor, manage, and optimise their fulfilment activity. It provides tools for viewing orders, tracking workflows, and coordinating warehouse tasks, giving you clearer control over day-to-day operations.

Integrating Helm with Neuro allows you to send orders directly into Helm, keep key data in sync, and manage fulfilment from a single centralised view.

Step-by-Step Integration

Installing the Helm Plugin

Follow the steps below to install and configure the Helm plugin in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

  • Log in to your Helm account.

  • In the left-hand navigation menu, click Stores.

  • To edit an existing store, click the edit (pencil) icon.

  • To create a new store, click + ADD, assign a name, and then click the edit icon to continue.

Step 2: Add the Helm Plugin

  • Within the store, scroll to the Plugins section.

  • Click + ADD to begin installation.

  • A pop-up window will appear. From the list of available integrations, type or select Helm, then click Install.

Step 3: Configure the Plugin

Enter the following information:

Hostname

Enter the Helm hostname for your environment using the format:
{hostname}.myhelm.app

Replace {hostname} with your actual Helm subdomain. For example, if you normally sign in at example.myhelm.app, then your hostname value would be example. This must match exactly as it appears in your Helm URL.

Fulfilment Client Authentication Toggle

Turn this on if the Email and Password you are entering belong to the fulfilment client’s Helm account (for example, a 3PL or warehouse partner using Helm on your behalf). Leave this off if the credentials belong to your own organisation’s Helm account.

Email

Enter the Helm account email that should be used for this integration. This email must correspond to an active user in Helm with sufficient permissions to access orders and perform the required operations.

Password

Enter the Password associated with the Helm Email above. Make sure this user has appropriate access for the warehouse and operations you intend to manage through Neuro.

💡 Tip:

If you are working with a fulfilment partner who uses Helm, confirm with them whether you should use their client-specific credentials and that the fulfilment client toggle is set correctly. Always store the email and password securely and update them in Neuro if they are changed in Helm.

  • Default Plugin Toggle: Enable this if you want Helm to be the fallback option for orders.

  • Marketplace or Region: Select your relevant Helm market (if applicable).

  • Configure any relevant options (e.g., Download Products, Auto Sync Stock, etc.).

  • Ensure all fields are filled in correctly for a successful connection.

Step 4: Connect Your Helm Account

Once your plugin is configured:

  • Use the Copy Connect Link to send to a reseller, or

  • Click Connect to authenticate with your Helm account.

  • You’ll be redirected to Helm’s authentication portal to complete setup.

Step 5: Save and Activate

  • If this is your default plugin, toggle “Is Default” on.

  • Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

  • After saving, toggle the “Is Active” switch at the top of the plugin screen to finalise activation.

Default Plugin Note

The Default Plugin serves as the fallback destination for order routing when no specific plugin assignment rule exists. If you’re using multiple plugins, we recommend designating a default and setting clear assignment rules for accurate routing.

Activation Time

Please allow 3 to 5 minutes for the plugin to activate and complete its initial data synchronisation with Helm.
