What is DPD?
DPD is a parcel delivery company providing domestic and international courier services for eCommerce and retail businesses. It offers services such as next-day delivery, international shipping, pickup shops, and detailed tracking, making it a popular choice for online merchants and fulfilment operations.
Integrating DPD with Neuro allows you to automatically pass order and shipment data to DPD, generate labels, and keep shipment statuses aligned between systems.

Step-by-Step Integration
Installing the DPD Plugin
Follow the steps below to install and configure the DPD plugin in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section
Log in to your Neuro account.
In the left-hand navigation menu, click Stores.
To edit an existing store, click the edit (pencil) icon.
To create a new store, click + ADD, assign a name, and then click the edit icon to continue.

Step 2: Add the DPD Plugin
Within the store, scroll to the Plugins section.
Click + ADD to begin installation.
A pop-up window will appear. From the list of available integrations, type or select DPD, then click Install.

Step 3: Configure the Plugin
Plugin Name:
Enter a descriptive name that will help you easily identify this integration within your Neuro account. For example, “DPD UK Shipping” or “DPD Main Carrier”.
Client ID:
Enter the Client ID issued by DPD for your integration. This value identifies your application or account when Neuro connects to DPD’s systems.
Client Username:
Enter the Client Username associated with your DPD integration or web services account. This is typically provided as part of your technical credentials.
Username:
Enter the operational Username that DPD has provided for accessing its API or web services. This may be the same as your portal login, or a dedicated integration user, depending on how your DPD account is set up.
Password:
Enter the Password associated with the Username above. Make sure that this user has permission to create shipments, generate labels, and retrieve tracking information.
Tip:
Treat your Client ID, Client Username, Username, and Password as confidential credentials. Store them securely and avoid sharing them in chats or documents. If any of these are changed within DPD, you must update the values in the DPD plugin configuration in Neuro to maintain connectivity.
Ensure all fields are completed accurately before proceeding.

Step 4: Connect Your DPD Account
Once your plugin is configured:
Use the Copy Connect Link to send to a reseller, or
Click Connect to authenticate with your DPD account.
You’ll be redirected to DPD’s authentication portal to complete setup.

Step 5: Save and Activate
If this is your default plugin, toggle “Is Default” on.
Click Save in the bottom-right corner.
After saving, toggle the “Is Active” switch at the top of the plugin screen to finalise activation.
Default Plugin Note
The Default Plugin serves as the fallback destination for order routing when no specific plugin assignment rule exists. If you’re using multiple plugins, we recommend designating a default and setting clear assignment rules for accurate routing.

Activation Time
Please allow 3 to 5 minutes for the plugin to activate and complete its initial data synchronisation with DPD.
