What is THG Ingenuity?

THG Ingenuity is an eCommerce and operations platform that supports brands with storefronts, merchandising, warehousing, and fulfilment. It brings together product, content, and logistics into a single ecosystem so brands can sell and ship efficiently across multiple markets.

Integrating THG Ingenuity with Neuro allows you to sync orders, manage inventory, and map product and delivery configuration between the two systems.

Step-by-Step Integration

Installing the THG Ingenuity Plugin

Follow the steps below to install and configure the THG Ingenuity plugin in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

• Log in to your Neuro account.

• In the left-hand navigation menu, click Stores.

• To edit an existing store, click the edit (pencil) icon.

• To create a new store, click + ADD, assign a name, and then click the edit icon to continue.

Step 2: Add the THG Ingenuity Plugin

• Within the store, scroll to the Plugins section.

• Click + ADD to begin installation.

• A pop-up window will appear. From the list of available integrations, type or select THG Ingenuity, then click Install.

Step 3: Configure the Plugin

Enter the following information:

Client ID:

Enter the Client ID issued by THG Ingenuity for your integration. This identifies Neuro as a client application when it connects to THG Ingenuity.

Client Secret:

Enter the Client Secret associated with your Client ID. This confidential value is used together with the Client ID to securely authenticate Neuro with THG Ingenuity.

Realm Name:

Enter the Realm Name provided by THG Ingenuity. This typically represents the authentication or tenancy context under which your brand or environment is configured.

Warehouse ID:

Enter the Warehouse ID that Neuro should use when communicating with THG Ingenuity. Orders and inventory updates will be associated with this warehouse by default.

Stock Management Category (THG):

Enter or select the THG Stock Management Category value that should be applied to products or stock updates coming from Neuro. This is used to control how inventory is managed within THG Ingenuity.

Product Merchandising Status (THG):

Enter or select the THG Product Merchandising Status value that should be applied to products synced from Neuro. This can be used to control whether products are considered live, draft, or otherwise merchandisable within THG Ingenuity.

Product Type (THG):

Enter or select the THG Product Type value that best matches the items being managed through this integration. This helps THG Ingenuity classify products correctly for reporting, rules, and merchandising.

Delivery Type ID (THG):

Enter the THG Delivery Type ID that Neuro should use when sending orders to THG Ingenuity. This is used to map Neuro’s shipping or service options to the correct delivery method in THG Ingenuity.

💡 Tip:

Treat your Client ID and Client Secret as sensitive credentials and store them securely. If any of these values (Client ID, Client Secret, Realm Name, Warehouse ID, or THG mapping values) change in THG Ingenuity, update them in the THG Ingenuity plugin configuration in Neuro to keep the integration working correctly.

• Default Plugin Toggle: Enable this if you want THG Ingenuity to be the fallback option for orders.

• Marketplace or Region: Select your relevant THG Ingenuity market (if applicable).

• Configure any relevant options (e.g., Download Products, Auto Sync Stock, etc.).

• Ensure all fields are filled in correctly for a successful connection.

Step 4: Connect Your THG Ingenuity Account

Once your plugin is configured:

• Use the Copy Connect Link to send to a reseller, or

• Click Connect to authenticate with your THG Ingenuity account.

• You’ll be redirected to THG Ingenuity authentication portal to complete setup.

Step 5: Save and Activate

• If this is your default plugin, toggle “Is Default” on.

• Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

• After saving, toggle the “Is Active” switch at the top of the plugin screen to finalise activation.

Default Plugin Note

The Default Plugin serves as the fallback destination for order routing when no specific plugin assignment rule exists. If you’re using multiple plugins, we recommend designating a default and setting clear assignment rules for accurate routing.

Activation Time

Please allow 3 to 5 minutes for the plugin to activate and complete its initial data synchronisation with THG Ingenuity.
