What is JD?

JD is a major retail and fulfilment partner, supporting high‑volume, multi‑channel operations. When integrated with Neuro, JD can act as a core logistics and fulfilment hub, ensuring that orders, inventory movements, and operational data flow cleanly between systems.

Integrating JD with Neuro allows you to automate order processing, maintain inventory accuracy, and centralise your operations across multiple channels and departments.

Step‑by‑Step Integration

Installing the JD Plugin

Follow the steps below to install and configure the JD plugin in your Neuro account.

Step 1: Access the Stores Section

Log in to your Neuro account.

In the left‑hand navigation menu, click Stores.

To edit an existing store, click the edit (pencil) icon.

To create a new store, click + ADD, assign a name, and then click the edit icon to continue.

Step 2: Add the JD Plugin

Within the store, scroll to the Plugins section.

Click + ADD to begin installation.

A pop‑up window will appear. From the list of available integrations, type or select JD, then click Install.

Step 3: Configure the Plugin

Enter the following information. These values control how Neuro identifies your JD setup and routes data between systems.

Plugin Name

Enter a descriptive name that will help you easily identify this integration within your Neuro account. For example, “JD Main Warehouse” or “JD UK – Ecom Orders”.

Customer Code

Enter the Customer Code provided by JD for your account. This uniquely identifies your business within JD’s environment.

Operator Code

Enter the Operator Code that represents the operational entity handling your orders (for example, a specific JD operating unit or site).

Source System Code

Enter the Source System Code that identifies Neuro (or the originating system) within the JD integration. This is used to track where orders and updates originate.

Cargo Owner ID

Enter the Cargo Owner ID assigned to your business. This tells JD which inventory owner transactions belong to, especially in multi‑tenant or shared‑warehouse environments.

Warehouse Code

Enter the Warehouse Code for the JD site that will process and store your inventory. If you use multiple JD warehouses, ensure the correct code is used for this plugin instance.

Sales Channel Code (scCode)

Enter the Sales Channel Code (scCode) that maps this plugin to a specific sales channel (for example, “WEB”, “MARKETPLACE”, or a bespoke JD channel code). This ensures orders and stock movements are correctly attributed.

Customer Dept Code

Enter the Customer Dept Code that JD uses to segment or group your business units or departments. This is often used for reporting, routing, or internal accounting.

💡 Tip:

Each of these values will typically be provided by your JD onboarding or technical contact. Ensure they are entered exactly as supplied, as JD will validate these codes when data is exchanged.

Once all fields are completed:

Configure any relevant options (for example, Download Products, Auto Sync Stock, order import behaviour, or status mapping).

Ensure all fields are filled in correctly for a successful connection.

Step 4: Connect Your JD Account

Once your plugin is configured:

Use the Copy Connect Link if you need to share the connection URL with an internal team or partner, or

Click Connect (if available) to trigger any required handshake or validation process between Neuro and JD.

If your JD integration requires additional authentication steps, follow any on‑screen prompts or instructions provided by your implementation team.

Step 5: Save and Activate

If this is your default JD plugin for this store, toggle “Is Default” on.

Click Save in the bottom‑right corner.

After saving, toggle the “Is Active” switch at the top of the plugin screen to finalise activation.

Default Plugin Note

The Default Plugin serves as the fallback destination for order routing when no specific plugin assignment rule exists. If you’re using multiple plugins (for example, multiple JD warehouses or other carriers and 3PLs), we recommend designating a default and setting clear assignment rules for accurate routing.

Activation Time

Please allow 3 to 5 minutes for the plugin to activate and complete its initial data synchronisation with JD. During this time, initial checks and handshakes may occur between Neuro and JD using the codes you provided.
