What is Linnworks?

Linnworks is a multichannel order and inventory management platform used by ecommerce brands to centralise listings, stock, orders, and fulfilment across marketplaces and webstores. Connecting Linnworks to Neuro streamlines operations while keeping data in sync across channels.

Obtaining Your Linnworks API Credentials

To connect Linnworks to Neuro, you’ll need:

  • API Key

  • API URL (base endpoint)

Note:

If you don’t have these yet, log in to your Linnworks account or contact your Linnworks account manager/onboarding representative.

How to Find Your API URL

  1. Log in to the Linnworks Control Panel.

  2. Open Settings.

  3. Go to Integrations or API/Developer settings.

  4. Copy your account’s base API URL (environment-specific).

How to Generate Your API Key

  1. In Linnworks, click your username in the top-right.

  2. Navigate to Account Settings > API/Developer.

  3. Create or Generate a new API key.

  4. Store the key securely; it grants access to your Linnworks data.

⚠️ Be sure to store this key securely - it provides direct access to your marketplace data.

Step-by-Step Tutorial: Integrating Linnworks with Neuro

Phase 1 — Linnworks: Authorise and get your credentials

Authorise the app and capture the token/credentials you’ll need later.

  1. Go to Linnworks.net or Authorise Application and sign in with your primary Linnworks account. (Review the terms and conditions, then sign in using your primary Linnworks account credentials.)

  2. Click Install to authorise the application. Use the latest version for best compatibility.

  3. In Linnworks, open the main menu and select Shipping.

  4. Go to Integrations and copy the App auth Token you’ll use in Neuro.

Phase 2 — Neuro: Install Linnworks sales channel

Add Linnworks as a sales channel in Neuro and filter orders via a custom identifier.

  1. In Neuro, go to Settings.

  2. Click Sales Channels.

  3. Click Install on Linnworks.

  4. Enter a Channel Name (e.g., “Linnworks” or a site/location reference).

  5. Paste the App auth Token from Phase 1 into the App auth Token field.

  6. Check Use Custom Identifier Filter.

  7. Set the filter operator to Contains.

  8. Type SENDTODC in the Custom Identifier field.

Phase 3 — Linnworks: Create and apply the identifier

Create the SENDTODC identifier in Linnworks and apply rules so the right orders sync to Neuro.

  1. Return to Linnworks.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Open General settings.

  4. Click Order management.

  5. In Identifiers, click New identifier.

  6. Name the identifier SENDTODC. The Tag will auto-populate when you change focus. (Recommended: add a visual reference to the identifier.)

  7. Click Save.

  8. Create rules to apply the SENDTODC identifier to orders you want to sync to Channels/DC.

Note: Location filters still apply.
